Refund and Cancellation Policy for Donations

2.Refund Requests

In exceptional cases where a donation needs to be refunded, we will review the request on a case-by-case basis. Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate Donation: If you mistakenly made the same donation multiple times, please contact us within 7 days of the donation for a refund.
  • Technical Errors: If there was an error with the payment process (e.g., incorrect amount charged due to a system malfunction), we will investigate and process a refund if necessary.
  • Accidental Donation: If you believe the donation was made in error, please contact us immediately within 7 days for review. Refund requests for accidental donations will be evaluated, and refunds may be issued at our discretion.

3. Non-Refundable Donations

Please note that donations made to specific projects, events, or towards specific funds cannot be refunded if the funds have already been allocated or used. Once donations are transferred to the relevant programs or initiatives, they are non-refundable.

4. Donation Cancellation

  • Before Donation is Processed: If you decide to cancel your donation before the processing of your payment, please contact us immediately. Once the payment has been processed and the funds are in transit, cancellation is no longer possible.
  • After Payment is Processed: If the donation has been successfully processed, cancellations are generally not allowed unless under exceptional circumstances.

5. Requesting a Refund

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Provide your donation receipt, the reason for the refund request, and relevant details of the donation.

6. Refund Method

Refunds, if approved, will be processed back to the original method of payment. Please allow up to 10-14 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider.
